Business China

In the 1930s, China had the world's third largest stock market, and was home to many companies that have since made it to the Fortune 500 ranks. Today, with a quarter of the world's population and now a World Trade Organization member, the new China is the world's largest ever-virgin market – and an untapped business "goldmine".

Indeed, China has one of the globe's fastest growing (even in a bearish world) economies, and it is showing no sign of weakness. She is constantly displacing the world's largest in business, industry and many other areas.

However, for the novice foreign investor or business partner, doing business in China can be a hectic and confusing affair. The difference between failure and success, or fascination and misery, can often come down to just two factors – information and experience. But when armed with both, adventuring into China can be both pleasant and profitable.
